PROBLEMS WITH MY WHEELS OR TIRES

If you have a problem with handling and keeping the car pointed forward, bad tire wear and noticed you used more fuel for the same distance traveled lately, you can do one of the following to solve the problem:

1) Inflate your tires to the manufacturer’s specifications located at a reference plate by the driver’s door

2) Perform an alignment check. That will ensure that your camber, caster and toe angles are all adjusted to proper specifications.

a. if you feel that your car is too "tight" or need a lot of energy just to keep it straight on the road, ask the mechanic to adjust your caster to be more negative

b. if you feel that your car is too "loose" or "sensitive" that turns left or right too quickly with a slight touch of the steering wheel, ask the mechanic to adjust your caster to be more positive

3) Install an anti lift kit which is used to add positive caster to your car making it stiffer and provides you with more control of the car
